Reception

The reception was held at Restaurant Byttan. It was an evening filled with good food, music,
family and many friends. Thanks everybody who made this evening so fantastic.

Speeches were held by family and friends and other entertainment started during the appertizer
and continued throughout the entire dinner.

"Malin the Software"

Uncle Kjell's speech about "Malin the software" was very entertaining and brought lots of laughter. Aunt Anne translated into Swedish. Fantastic!

A Box of Red Wine

The most originell idea of the evening came from Mathias and Caisa. A bottle of red wine had been purchased and all guests were asked to write a note about were they think the bridal couple is in five years. These notes, together with the wine bottle, were sealed in the box and is not to be open until the fifth anniversary of the Kalmar wedding.

Friend's Memories and the Bachelorette Party

    Helen, Malin's oldest friend, told us about old memories, one about running away from home on our siblings' tricycles a beautiful summer's evening. Another memory was from a trip to the Niagara Falls together with other Swedish girls in a rental car that constantly broke down...

    Thereafter Katarina and Helen told us about the bachelorette party in Halmstad. It started with a "kidnapping", horseback riding, and dinner at a restaurang with my friends Katarina, Helen, Ulrika, Pia and Christina. During the evening Malin, blind folded, painted a portrait of KK. The result was given to KK during the reception. Lots of fun!

    Pia, a college friend from Halmstad, spoke about school memories and how I got her lease on her mini apartment.

"The Good Looking Man KK"

Fia performed a song in which the lyrics was re-written and now was about "The Good Looking Man KK". We even got the song on CD and the lyrics framed. KK loves the lyrics!
