Beautiful and historical Kalmar castle was the place for our
church blessing in Sweden.


Royal Castle

The Kalmar castle started to get built in the 1100s.
During the 1500s, the castle got its final look. Gustav Vasa and two of his sons,
Erik XIV and Johan III, turned the Middeaval castle into a Renaissance castle.

The church - 411 years old

The castle's church was build during the reign of Johan III.
It was finalized in 1592. Today it is one of the most popular churches
for weddings in Sweden. Our Saturday was a regular day of weddings
at Kalmar castle with four weddings/blessings.
